America Calls it Soccer, The World’s Game is Football

The most popular game across the world is Football, but not American Football.  Football across the globe is simply Soccer. Australia, South Africa, Canada and the United Stated of America are the four countries that call the sport soccer.  In the United States, soccer is gaining in popularity as children play the sport growing up in addition to other forms of recreational sports.  This participation has lead to increased interest of the game on a higher level.  Today, the United States has Professional Football Teams from New York to Los Angeles in Major League Soccer.  It may never reach the highest level of interest as in the United Kingdom, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia, but the sport has definitely taken off with interest.
